painting systems during the design and execution of steel structures with a specified technical service life
exceeding 40 years, which are exposed to a corrosive environment, corrosivity category C3 - C5, or category
Im1 - Im3, according to SS-EN ISO 12944-2.

supplementary information that is required to attain the right level of quality for the object in the intended
environment.
This technical specification can also be used for steel structures with a shorter service life, if future maintenance
is restricted or prevented due to continuous operation, or because rational maintenance painting cannot be
